GET /v1/models
Read a minimal list of accessible canonical model IDs and their identity metadata.
No current prepared translation is available. The English source is shown without machine translation.
Returns a minimal OpenAI-style list of enabled canonical model IDs available to the authenticated key. Each record has exactly id, object, created and owned_by. No generation is performed by this read.
Authentication and request
curl 'https://api.model-gate.com/v1/models' \
-H "Authorization: Bearer $MODEL_API_KEY"
x-api-key is also accepted. Active and frozen keys may read the model catalog; a frozen key remains blocked from inference. Existing domain, IP and company permissions still apply.

This is a shape example, not a promise that this model is enabled for your account. created is the stored Unix timestamp in seconds; owned_by is the configured owner. An empty accessible inventory returns {"object":"list","data":[]}, not null.
Compatibility from version 12.0.0
The former expanded response is temporarily disabled. Prices, aliases, descriptions, capability flags and context/token limits are not returned. Query parameters such as ?view=extended or ?view=details do not enable those fields. Update integrations that required them before deploying this major release, and refresh cached model metadata.
Use Models and prices in your account for known token limits, account rates and separate Images, Audio and Video lists. Media cards show validated route-contract parameter values and limits. Use the corresponding media catalog and quote under the intended key in Playground for current eligibility and a request price; an API model ID alone is not a media offer. API key/group Usage Limit settings remain separate from account-level cards.
Enabled aliases still resolve when used for a request or one-model lookup, but are not listed in this minimal response. Obtain a supported alias from the model alias documentation or your account administrator; do not invent one.
Errors and company permissions
Missing or invalid authorization returns the normal structured authentication error. New requests to a model excluded by company policy return company_model_not_allowed; using another protocol does not bypass the policy. Existing owned results retain their original access and expiry rules. Catalog visibility may briefly lag a permission change; execution independently checks current access.
Keys with status active or frozen may read the model catalog; a frozen key remains blocked from inference endpoints.
